It’s 28th of July and the weather is just about holding strong. But is it now nearly the end of the Summer Workwear era?

And onto autumnal workwear, maybe a Polo with Gilet, rather than a thin T-shirt? 

We’ve had a good summer! As I tan in 10 minutes like the old roofers used to (assuming they’re aware of skin cancer and wear SPF50 these days?) I’ve been using a 30 and then a white t-shirt which helps a bit. Prefer it to a black one anyway. 

But now the main part is over no doubt we will see the odd heat wave blow over for a few days here and there but I’m thankful for the cooler nights and even a bit of rain.

Time to change up the T-shirt for a Polo I think. Do you agree?
