TilersForums.com was originally TilersForums.co.uk (The UK Tiling Forum) in 2006. Along with ElectriciansForums.co.uk and UKPlumbersForums.co.uk. In 2015 two of the main websites (the other having Gas Engineers on it which is quite UK-law-specific) went international and ended on TilersForums.com and ElectriciansForums.net.

Vivid Promotion are now the whole networks trusted supplier of personalised embroidered workwear company based in Market Drayton, Telford, but delivery nationally every working day of the week. 

The construction industry network with thousands of tradesmen and tradeswomen (there are more women now thankfully, but we need more to go into the trade they tell us! – pass the message on!) that have registered, contributed to the free advice network, and leave a legacy when they retire or move on for newer tradespeople to read through, research, and even help them get into the trade using the 20-year-rich content.

The idea is fellow electricians, plumbers and tilers can share their issues, find cheaper suppliers, cheaper vans, cheaper insurances using the power of people. There are lots of ways to get into the industries through governmental schemes which and often the forum can help point you in the right direction in training or retraining later in life. There are some dodgy ‘training companies’ that do scam people out of thousands who end up with the wrong qualification for what they wanted to do, or only part of a qualification, being miss-sold completely, or just downright poor quality training centres. To dodge those, always ask in the forums when you’re training to make sure the company you are speaking to is legitimate. 

Then there are the DIY weekend warriors who get help from fellow DIYers and even the odd tradesperson will chip in too when they have time. 

And the best of all, they’re all communities in their own rights. Helping each other out in times of need (van broken into, need tools please etc) and having each others back in times of misfortune (customers not paying up!).
